Between sea and mountains, in the heart of Roussillon plain, the domaine du Mas Alart offers you a wine-tasting trail through Catalan country.
Near the Mediterranean coast, our vineyard of which 27 hectares are under appellation d’origine contrôlée AOC is situated on clay land. The stony soils of the Pyrénées Orientales give low yields which favour the ripening of a quality harvest. Since the 2004 harvest, the domaine du Mas Alart has practised chemical-restricted farming, with wines made to terra Vitia specifications.
We have been making wines from our grapes since 1897 in our typically Catalan cellar, always with the constant aim of developing the finest possible products.
To this end, we are continually modernising our equipment, although keeping our family traditions based in patience, a respect for nature and our raw materials, and always taking into account that everything we do will have an impact in to the environment.
